This model is sufficiently quick and is likely to offer a greater driving range per charge compared to pricier Turbo versions. The array of available Porsche accessories is extensive (and notably pricey), resembling a child's extravagant Christmas wishlist. Selecting the ideal Taycan is a highly individual decision. However, all customers should take into account the $460 150 kW charger, which can triple the maximum charging capacity at 400-volt DC rapid charging stations.

Considering the low and sleek roof of the Taycan, the interior turns out to be surprisingly spacious. Porsche doesn't feel as roomy as the Tesla Model S, but a six-foot passenger can comfortably fit in both the front and rear seats. The standard configuration is four seats, while the third middle rear seat (offering a total of five seats) is a $480 option. Descriptively, Porsche refers to this configuration as a 2+1 layout, as the middle rear seat is only intended for short distances for short individuals. The Taycan's cargo space measures 17 cubic feet, divided between the trunk and a small front compartment that can hold a carry-on sized bag.
